“My goal as a counselor is to first set a firm foundation of trust and comfort, become aware of clients' presenting issues or challenges and then provide the management tools that will help them move forward with a healthy and productive life. I want clients to know that I'm here to support and encourage them in a less formal role than traditional counselors. I'm not a touchy- feely counselor, but I do approach my sessions with empathy. I have a very expansive history of highs and lows and have learned myself that a little outside help can be life changing.”
